ADHD Medications Don't Help Long Term

According to this recent John Hopkins study, ADHD medications offer little help to reduce ADHD behaviors when used over longer periods of time. The article concludes, "we clearly need better interventions", and that is why I recommend nurturing your child's self-reliance and cooperation.

This is an interesting article about the current use of ADHD medication. Keep in mind, even if the medications are temporarily relieving school failure and other kinds of "suffering", there could be other ways to resolve those problems.
